    As you may have guessed from the title, this post is all about Derby International Women’s Day! For anyone who doesn’t know, International Women’s Day was on March 8th and it’s all about celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It’s also about moving towards gender parity and inclusivity, which I love!

    Knitted Breasts Are Best?

    It’s all been VERY busy at The Knitted Jumper HQ just recently. We’ve had house guests (the nice kind!), been to Secret Cinema, British Summer Time Festival and Women Who Code events, plus Christmas party venue shopping, workplace training, and that’s just in the last two weeks! Needless to say the knitting has taken a bit of a back seat, and blogging activities more so, but we’re hopefully back on track now and ready to go again!     Yarn Bombing

    Love this article in Harpers Bazaar about yarn bombing. The Knitted Jumper was at Warehouse Oxford Street to witness the cute little hats for the model sheep with purpose built holes for their ears! We suggested such a hat for Mr E, but along with woolly pants the idea was vetoed!! We expect to hear a lot more about this new knitted form of graffiti in mainstream media, and you can expect to hear more from us too, as this has very much caught our eye!!
